Located about 230 kilometers east of Budapest, next to the River Tisza lies Tiszalök, where our production site, BAMIKO Kft is based. This region used to be a major centre of the textile industry, but unfortunately in the last decade many large companies have closed down their factories here and their production has been relocated to Asia due to cheaper workfare.

Therefore we were able to find a small, highly skilled and motivated team, who have been producing high quality GOTS certified products that are sold worldwide. Production started off in 2008 with a team of 8 people, which has since grown to 60. They make iobio™ products as well as the majority of PoPoLiNi® products, and we have also worked for many other brands.
GOTS certification is an ongoing annual audit to ensure that the strict standards are met in the production process, using raw materials from certified organic cultivation. BAMIKO Kft meets all these requirements perfectly. With modern machinery, our own cutting department and skilled workers, we cover all segments of clothing production chain.
In 2013, we bought a new production site with European Union funding, so production now takes place on 1,500 square meters. Our company aims to serve the environment in accordance with the principle of sustainable development. Accordingly, a complete solar system with a capacity of 50 kWp and 154 panels was installed in 2022, followed by a 100 kW heat pump system in 2023.
